Terms and Conditions

Please read the following terms and conditions carefully prior to enrolling for a course.

  1. The student is responsible for abiding by all College student policies, as listed in the Admissions Handbook available from the Downloads page.
  2. The student consents to the release of personal and academic data by the College in accordance with the Confidentiality of Student Records policy.
  3. The student agrees to meet all assessment and exam requirements as stipulated by the College.
  4. The student agrees to abide by the attendance rules of the College and ensure that class attendance is a minimum of 90% throughout the duration of the course. If classroom attendance is not maintained at the minimum level then, after three warnings, the student can be excluded from further studies at the College and parents/ guardian, sponsor and Home Office IND will be informed in writing.
  5. Library membership and Information Technology Department (IT) computer accounts and possibly other departmental accounts will be created for the student. The student agrees to abide by the College and Departmental codes of conduct and to be responsible for the use of IT equipment and library accounts.
  6. The student agrees to purchase core text books and material associated with the course as stipulated by the College. Failure to do so may result in not being allowed to attend the class.
  7. The student agrees to pay all fees as they become due and to meet any late fees and collection charges.
  8. The student agrees to meet financial obligations to the College in full and by the due date provided, as detailed in the Payment Plan. The student understands that they will not be permitted to enrol, sit for exams or graduate if they fail to do so.
  9. Information provided by the student to the College must be true and factual and that no information which would have a material bearing on the application will be been withheld. The student understands that the College will take action if it considers appropriate if subsequently it is found that part or all of the information provided is false.
  10. The College refund policy is as follows:
    1. Where a student has applied through an official CTL agent or office, a full refund will be given if the application is declined by the College.
    2. Where a student has applied directly to the College a full refund less �100 for administistrative and courier charges, will be given if the application is declined by the College.
    3. External charges such as credit card commissions and bank fees will be deducted from refund amounts if they apply.
    4. If the student has applied for a student visa outside of the UK and is refused a visa, a refund will be paid upon presentation of the original APP200 letter as issued by the British High Commission or British Embassy and the return of the original admission and receipt letters.
    5. After being granted a student visa, the student will not be eligible for a refund of fees paid, and will not be able to change to another institution. Any request for a change in course or deferral will be at the discretion of the Director of Studies or the Dean.
    6. If, after being granted a student visa by deception as a result of presenting false documentation to the College or any agent of the College the student forfeits the right to a refund for fees paid, and may be excluded from the College.
    7. If an application for a student visa is rejected by the British High Commission/ British Embassy, due to false documentation provided by the student, sponsor, parent or any party connected with the application the student will forfeit the right to a refund.
