Departments and Faculty
The College has three academic departments: Business, Information Technology and Academic English. CTL employs outstanding teaching faculty many of which have teaching experience with high-profile institutions such as Regents Business School, the European School of Economics and Cranfield School of Management. They also have a collective wealth of industry experience between them. Our teachers are passionate about their areas of expertise and are passionate about teaching. Dele Amusan
Dele holds an MBA from Southbank and lectures in Marketing, Corporate Finance and Economics. He currently teaches International Marketing and Consumer Behaviour at CTL.
Richard Bakare
Richard holds degrees from Westminster and Kent as well as a teaching qualification. He operates his own career development consultancy and business development advisory service. He lectures at Holborn and Westminster and teaches Entrepreneurship, International Marketing and Managing Across Cultures at CTL.
Abbie Cooke
Abbie is a business speaker, artist and entrepreneur. She has worked for Price Waterhouse Coopers and Taylor Woodrow and recently co-founded the Arts Movement Trust. Anastasios Eleftheriades
Anastasios holds an MA in Accounting and Finance from the University of Lancaster and is a certified accountant having worked at KPMG as a Senior Management Consultant. His lecturing experience encompasses City University, Westminster, Leicester, Middlesex and European Business School. He lectures Accounting and Financial Management at CTL.
Mike Elkin
Mike is an MBA (London Business School) and has many years experience in direct marketing specifically in the UK insurance industry. Dr. Emanuel Gomes
As well as holding a PhD from Coventry University, Dr Gomes is a senior lecturer in Corporate Strategy and International Business at Coventry and has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions and education strategy. He teaches corporate strategy and marketing at CTL.
Jackline Mutugi
Jackline is an MBA from Kenyatta University, Nairobi, Kenya, as well as a having Bachelor of Education. Omwenga Mwambi
Omwenga is a qualified accountant, having worked as a management consultant and auditor for several organisations. He also holds an M.Com degree currently and teaches HRM, Accounting and Change Management at CTL.
Dr. Sylvia Rohlfer
Dr. Rohlfer holds an MA in Industrial Employment and a business degree from, University of Konstanz in Germany. She is currently Assistant Professor at Warwick Business School and has lectured at Aston, Warwick, and other European business schools. She is teaching postgraduate programmes at CTL.
Dr. Alzira Salama
Dr. Salama is a trained psychologist with a Masters degree in Industrial Psychology from Rio de Janeiro in Brazil. She has spent many years working for large multinationals including Shell Oil and Xerox. More recently, she has taught at Cranfield School of Management and the European Business School and now acts as a consultant on Culture Change Processes.
Robert Slack
Robert has over 25 years experience in teaching economics, accounting and finance, quantitative methods in the UK and the USA. He holds an engineering degree and an MBA from Edinburgh and teaches Accounting and Financial Management at CTL.
Richard Small
As an undergraduate, Richard attended City University and completed his MA in Marketing at University of Westminster. Dr. Dave Taylor
Dr. Taylor has been extensively involved as a strategic advisor to the UK, Japanese, Dutch and South African governments in the areas of public private partnerships and government asset valuation. He has lectured at prestigious business schools in London and Paris and is teaching strategy, innovation and management information systems at CTL.
