CTL students graduated today, the 9th July 2010 at the University of Wales Lampeter graduation ceremony. Students and family guests made the long trip to Lampeter from London, some arriving several days before. The ceremony took place alongside UWL graduates, staff and dignitaries including Dr. R. Brinley Jones CBE MA DPhil FSA with the Investiture of Honorary Fellow being awarded to Mrs. Tricia Carter for her special contribution to the University of Wales Lampeter.

BA (Hons) Business Management students who studied degrees between October 2007 and February 2010 as well as top-up degree students graduated today. MBA students studying between October 2008, June 2008 and February 2009 also graduated with specialisations in Information Management, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Leadership and Human Resource Management.

Many CTL graduates achieved first class and upper second class degrees (2.1) in what were fantastic overall achievements. Several students received their degree in absentia after having returned to their home countries, or taken up a higher degree.

The ceremony was followed by a photo session, the luck and a briefing from the Department of Management and Information Technology. Graduates had time to explore the campus and town before tea was served in the Refectory at the end of the day. All graduates are now able to join the Lampeter Society which is now over 70 years old.

All graduates from outside the European Union and now eligible to apply for a two-year Post-Study Work (PSW) visa if they wish to remain in the UK. In behalf of all the staff at CTL and the University of Wales Lampeter, we would like to wish them the best for their future careers [9 July 2010]
